The Petunia nightie is cut from soft 100% Indian cotton, light, breathable, and easy on the skin,in a gentle green and white check, finished with a hay Yellow selvedge.
It’s the kind of piece you reach for without thinking, in high summer heat or the quiet chill of winter mornings.
The cuffs and neckline are hand-smocked, worked patiently in dark green and ecru thread. This is not fast work. It’s done by hand, one small section at a time,gather, stitch, knot, then begin again. Each tiny stop and start leaves its mark, a trace of the hands that made it.
Nothing about it is hurried.
